I hope everyone is having a decent Friday... Mine's... eh.
There's a new TV show on USA that I like... And not because it has the sexiest woman on TV on it (ok... not JUST because... it certainly helps).
I discovered Sarah Shahi when I was watching Life. She played police detective Dani Reese who was partnered with a guy who was a police officer wrongly convicted of murder and spent 12 years in prison.
Well Life was cancelled... the good ones always are... but Shahi reappeared on "Fairly Legal", a show about a former lawyer turned mediator who solves people's problems through negotiation rather than litigation...
Just two words... YES PLEASE!
The show pretty much has the following premise: Kate gets assigned some case to mediate, either by her boss (and stepmother) or by a judge... Kate discovers some crime that is an injustice where she has to beg her ex-husband who is a DA to "screw what the law says and do the right thing"... In the end, the ex-husband does the right thing, Kate negotiates a win-win scenario for both sides and everyone is happy... BTW, best character on the show is Kate's assistant Leo... He's an uber geek who manages to keep Kate under control and out of trouble with her boss, the evil stepmother.

Funny video from the SportsDome, The Onion's new sports TV show...
Yeah sorry NFL... we just don't give a shit about the Pro-Bowl... and neither do the players... Proof of that is below...

Little PSA here...
Ok so we all know it's annoying to drive behind the guy who hasn't properly cleared off his car... it's nice and sunny out but you're driving in a blizzard from all the snow blowing off of the car in front of you...
Well after an ice storm it's not just annoying... it's dangerous. Instead of nice fluffy snow flying off of the car, you have sheets of ice... NOT GOOD.
So take a few minutes and clear ALL of your car off... not just the windows.

Getting back to sports for a second... Everyone was all panicky about hosting the Super Bowl in a cold weather city like Indianapolis... ZOMG, a snow storm will hit! What will we do???
Well... I present to you Arlington, Texas, home of Cowboys Stadium and host of this year's Super Bowl....

Finally one of the internet memes I've been truly enjoying is the Bayeux Tapestry meme...
Essentially it's taking current sayings and stuff and "translating them" to olde style speak and then putting it on a medieval background... like such:
You can make your own here: Historic Tale Construction Kit.
Ok everyone... have a nice day!

I love the Bayeux Tapestries. I just can't figure out the last one?
Oh and not the cleaning off the car completely...one of my biggest pet peeves!
I have Fairly Legal on the DVR. I haven't watched a single episode yet, but you're the 2nd person to say it's good.
