"My boyfriends mom is racest. She hates that im half black. I cry when i think About it."
"I like the feeling when I cut. It feels good and the taste of weed and booze. People call me weird and crazy and sometimes an addict. I guess I don't know what I am. I wish I was addicted so someone would care. And pray."
"I always feel like I'm missing something w/ this book. I feel like an idtio because I've never "gotten" or even liked it."
This secret was actually written in the book itself next to a secret. The secret was sent in on the cover of a copy of Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger. The secret says "If you feel like you are going insane and you are trapped in a dysfunctional environment, You Are Not Crazy." While I agree with the secret itself, I also COMPLETELY agree with the message the person wrote in the book. Seriously I read Catcher in the Rye and thought "What the fuck?" I just wanted to smack Holden Caulfield and tell him to get over himself. Why the hell do people think this is some earthshattering, amazing book? I spent the entire book waiting for something to happen but instead all I got was Holden whining about EVERYTHING. Newsflash... Holden YOU are the phony.
"This is SO... True!"
This was next to a secret that says "Sometimes I wish I didn't believe... so I could stop feeling like I am just disappointing Him."

So last night was the State of the Union... Little bit of trivia about it... First off, it's mandated by the Constitution... sort of. See the Constitution does mandate that the President give to Congress a "state of the union" (Article II, Sec 3) but does not say how often or how it should be done.
He shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union...Right... Washington gave the first State of the Union speech... John Adams continued to give the speech... But Thomas Jefferson thought the speech was too similar to a Speech from the Throne and discontinued the speech opting rather to send the State of the Union in writing to Congress and a clerk would read it. It wasn't until 1913 that Woodrow Wilson revived the practice of coming to Congress himself and giving the speech. Most Presidents today give the State of the Union orally to a joint session of Congress. The last to give a written State of the Union was Jimmy Carter before he left office in 1981.
There's a lot of protocol involved with the State of the Union... First off the President can't just come to Congress, he has to be invited to speak before them. The speech (as with all joint sessions of Congress) takes place in the House chamber, simply because it's bigger. So the House is called to order and about 1/2 hour before the speech the Senate (and Vice President as President of the Senate) is invited in. Shortly before the speech, the dignitaries are introduced... the Supreme Court, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Cabinet. Then the President is introduced... "Mr. (or Madam) Speaker, The President of the United States!" And the President strolls in and gives his speech.
Following the speech the opposition party is always given a chance to give a rebuttal speech. This year the Republicans chose Congressman Paul Ryan to give the Republican Response... but just to be contrarian, the Tea Party wing of the Republican party decided they'd have Michelle "Balloon Head" Bachmann give their own Republican response.
Why in the hell would they pick someone as fucking insane as Michelle Bachmann? Seriously if you look on Politifact.com's Truth-o-meter (a non-partisan fact checking organization) Bachmann has 14 statements reviewed.... Her best rating is "Barely true"... and there's only one of those. She has 7 completely false statements and 6 statements that are so egregiously wrong they've been award the coveted "Pants on fire" rating.

This morning Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Officer David Moore passed away from injuries sustained when he was shot 4 times on Sunday morning, including twice to the head.
Officer Moore had pulled over a vehicle in a routine traffic stop. Little did he know that the vehicle had 60 yr old Thomas Hardy in it and Hardy had been paroled from prison just weeks before (by mistake it turns out).
Officer Moore was placed on life support and last night it was announced that he would not recover from his injuries. Plans were being made to donate his organs.
Officer Moore was taken off of life support at about 6:30a this morning. He is survived by his parents Spencer and Jo Moore, both veterans of IMPD. He was 29.

And finally in the category of "What the fuck?" we have this story out of Florida...
There's a new piano bar in Miami... well ok a new piano SANDbar.
In the middle of Biscayne Bay in Miami someone left a grand piano on a sandbar about 200yards off shore. No one is sure where it came from or even how long it's really been there.
What they do know is that it's not going anywhere anytime soon. See no one seems to have any jurisdiction to remove it. The Coast Guard has said that so long as it's not a hazard they're not going to touch it. Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission also says they won't remove it. Same thing for the Miami police and fire departments...

I'd like to see someone play the piano.. kinda cool.
It's the deadliest month in history for police officers. People are CRAZY!
